Preliminary rounds will take place at Sundby Arena
When the World Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark 2015 begins, the preliminary rounds will take place at Sundby Arena. Sundby Arena is normally used as trainings field for some of the biggest football clubs in Copenhagen. The area has a perfect size for the preliminary rounds and together with the facilities around the grass area, it will hopefully make a perfect start for the championship.
Sundby Arena is located between 1 and 3 kilometers from the officials’ and athletes’ hotels, and just 3,5 kilometers from the city center of Copenhagen, where the finals will take place in front of the Danish Parliament. There is public transportation just outside Sundby Arena, which makes it possible for the spectators to come from Copenhagen downtown to the preliminary arena in around 10 minutes.
With the area for the preliminary rounds so close to Copenhagen downtown, the championships in Denmark is the perfect possibility for spectators to support their favorite archer and also see one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Learn more about Copenhagen here.
